“Your beliefs become your thoughts, your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your values, your values become your destiny.” --Mahatma Ghandi Thoughts truly are things and can be very powerful when mixed with desire, persistence, purpose, and faith. Our thoughts truly shape our future, whether we are aware of it or not! Have you heard about your subconscious mind? The subconscious mind can be a powerful tool for achieving success, but it can also be our worst enemy. People have full control over what they feed their mind with: positivity vs. negativity; faith vs. fear; abundance vs. lack, etc. Have you ever thought about what the most amazing thing about the subconscious mind is though? It does not have the ability to distinguish whether you are telling it the truth or not! So as long as you fill up your beliefs, affirmations, or autosuggestions with enough positive emotions and faith, your subconscious mind will take it as the truth and that way you build the life of your dreams full of positivity and joy. The flip side of that is however, if you fill your mind with negativity, doubt, fear, and a scarcity mindset, that energy attracts outcomes that will be in line with that kind of thinking, leaving you always wanting more. One critical point in this all, is that this type of thinking is not just about the success of becoming rich and acquiring a lot of money, this is important when it comes to your overall life and happiness. Change the way you think, and you can change your life! How can I start?
Wake up and be grateful: While lying in bed, take 5 minutes to think about what you are grateful for in life?
Meditation: 10 minutes of meditation first thing in the morning when you wake up is a great way to get going for your day.
Write down your affirmations: Start all your sentences with “I am” (for example: I am loved; I am successful).
Read your affirmations out loud: Following your meditation, the mind is like a blank page ready to be filled up with information; therefore, fill it up with positive affirmation enriched with emotions and faith.
Write down your goals! Make sure to include both short term and long term goals. Blog about goal setting coming up, so stay tuned!
Read books: Books that enhance your knowledge related to your profession, as well as self-developmental books, investing in yourself and growing your mental power.
"Our minds are like mental factories. Whatever you think about all day long pours ingredients into this mental factory, and that is what builds the economic, financial, and social fabric of your life."
-Jim Rohn
What are you FEEDING your brain with all day?
