Matcha is powdered green tea leaves and it is packed full of antioxidants. It's earthy, mildly sweet flavor adds a unique flavor to this wellness bowl. You can find it in the tea section of most health food stores. We love this recipe because it is quick, tasty, and rich in nutrients!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tsp matcha powder

  • 1 scoop protein powder, unflavored

  • 2 cups spinach

  • 2 Tbsp lime juice

  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 cup ice

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 1/4 cup orange juice

  • 3/4 cup fresh berries

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend together the matcha powder, protein powder, spinach, lime juice, maple syrup, ice, avocado and orange juice until smooth.

  2. Spoon the blended mixture into bowls and top with fresh berries.
