Looking for a healthy snack that kids will actually get excited about? These Apple “Nachos” are crunchy, sweet, and loaded with fun toppings like peanut butter, granola, and mini chocolate chips. They come together in just 10 minutes and make the perfect after-school snack for busy school nights.
Ingredients
2 crisp apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Pink Lady work great)
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter or almond butter
1–2 teaspoons warm water (to thin nut butter if needed)
2 tablespoons granola
1 tablespoon mini dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon chia seeds or hemp hearts
Optional:
cinnamon
unsweetened coconut flakes
sliced strawberries or bananas
drizzle of honey
Instructions
Wash and thinly slice the apples.
Arrange slices on a large plate or platter.
Stir in a little warm water until drizzle-friendly.
Drizzle the nut butter over the apple slices.
Sprinkle with:
granola
chocolate chips
chia seeds
any optional toppings
Serve immediately.
