Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

With the Fall Season upon us and pumpkins everywhere, here’s a little reminder to save those pumpkin seeds! Pumpkin Seeds are easy to transform from the “nasty insides of the pumpkin” to an easy-to-make health snack.

How are pumpkin seeds good for us?


  • Healthy fats

  • High in Iron, Vit K, Magnesium and Manganese

  • 9 g of protein in a ¼ cup serving


Oven temp at 300 degrees, baking for 20-40 min, stirring every 10 min.


  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds = 1 tablespoon of butter, 1/4 teaspoon seasoning

  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds = 2 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 teaspoon seasoning

  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds = 3 tablespoons of butter, 3/4 teaspoon seasoning

  • 2 cups pumpkin seeds = 4 tablespoons of butter, 1 teaspoon seasoning


Seasoning options:

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Everything Bagel

  • Pumpkin Spice and/or Cinnamon with a hint of sugar
