As the temperatures cool in the morning, you may catch us with a Turmeric Ginger tea in our Yeti cups. And why not, personally, we are more likely to get out for some trail running/hiking gravel/mountain biking or honestly just a last push to meet 2023 goals (inside the gym and out).

Here are some of the health benefits we enjoy with a Turmeric Ginger Tea:

  • Anti-inflammatory

  • Enhanced Blood Flow

  • Anti-microbial & Antioxidant. (ginger)

While you could grate Turmeric root, Dr. Linkhorn like to break her Turmeric capsule(s) into her tea. The benefit here is a time saver, no mess, and the Turmeric capsules have the black pepper already mixed in. Black pepper aids in enhancing the effects of turmeric. Here is a link to the type she likes (we have no financial ties to this):

  • 20 oz hot water

  • Two Turmeric capsules

  • Half lemon, squeezed

  • Ginger root to taste

  • 1 Teaspoon of honey
